1. If you are interested in submitting a book idea or a manuscript in keeping with the mission stated above, P&R Publishing welcomes your proposal. P&R receives proposals only in the form outlined below.

2. Unless by previous agreement, please do not submit a complete manuscript. Even if your manuscript is complete, we ask that you submit a proposal instead of the manuscript. This will help us to respond as quickly as possible. We will not return unsolicited manuscripts.

3. A fully developed proposal consists of the following:

• A typewritten outline, chapter by chapter, along with two complete sample chapters of the book.

• An estimate of the total number of typewritten pages.

• Short comments from others familiar with your subject who agree that there is a need for your book.

• A list of recognized authorities on the topic of this book who may be willing to offer prepublication comment.

• A completed Author Background and Manuscript Proposal form. (The form can be found at www.prpbooks.com.)

4. Proposals may be submitted in hard copy, on Microsoft Word-compatible disks, or by email.

5. Please mention if your proposal is being submitted simultaneously to other publishers.

6. You will be notified when your manuscript has been evaluated.

7. A contract may be issued at any point in the process of writing the manuscript based on its development.

8. While P&R is always looking for new qualified authors, we publish approximately 2 percent of unsolicited submissions.

9. If you submission is in hard copy or on Microsoft Word-compatible disks, send your proposal to:
